Interesting： The US Commerce Secretary reportedly told Anthropic it needs government permission to export Fable 5 and Mythos 5 anywhere in the world.
Even to "any foreign national regardless of location."
"Lutnick threatened Anthropic with criminal and civil penalties if it failed to comply， according to a copy of the directive obtained by Bloomberg News."
Anthropic's response： disable both models for all users.
Two points to consider：
1） Even friendly nations are excluded from the most significant models. SOTA is increasingly becoming a strategic weapon， kept secret.
2） As a result， AI is now being shifted away from private companies and directly into government control.
